G900 Sony Ericsson Goes Sim Free - 5 Megapixel, Touchscreen Sony G900The first and only 5 megapxiel camera phone with an integrated touchscreen has now been made available as a SIM Free device, the Sony G900 is a candy bar format mobile phone that hides some new technology that is a first of its kind.

Sony Ericsson have released other 5 megapixel camera phones in the past including the likes of the K850i and C902, however the manufacturers latest offering incorporates touchscreen technology not previously seen alongside the high specification camera lens.

Originally released on O2 contract deals just a few days ago the new Sony G900 can now be obtained as a SIM free handset, this means that consumers do not have to sign up to a lengthy contract agreement, neither do they have to be tied to just one UK network operator.

The Sony Ericsson G900 in its SIM Free form is unlocked to all UK networks, this allows consumers to simply insert their existing SIM card to retain their current mobile number and account details without any further commitment.

The Sony Ericsson G900 lets you choose how you want to use your phone. Make a call, listen to a song, visit a Web site. With the G900 it is simple and straight forward. Use the key control - or just touch the screen with your finger to make it happen.

What you can do with pen and paper, you can do with your G900. Press the Notes key and use the stylus to write in your own handwriting. Quick and easy, no keyboard needed. The inclusion of a 5.0 megapixel camera lets you take print-quality photos. Setting the picture's focus area is as easy as touching the screen. Take your photo, then share - blog it, email it, send it to friends.

Although only initially available on O2 and as a SIM Free device, the Sony G900 is expected to be picked up by further UK networks very soon, as this happens the number of tariffs and packages will increase and so will the choice available to consumers wanting to purchase this high specification camera phone.
