HTC Debuts In Korean Market With The Touch Dual

HTC Corp. recently landed for business on Korean shores armed with the slim, stylish, and highly intuitive phone, the HTC Touch Dual.

The HTC Touch Dual’s Korean launch is HTC Corporation’s maiden entry into the Korean market and banners an exclusive tie-up with Korean carrier, SK Telecom.

Oozing with appeal with its compact, slide-out keypad design, the Touch Dual prides itself with HTC’s TouchFLO technology which allows for a no-frills touch and keypad experience. Dialing and messaging are made convenient through one-touch access to contacts, messages, email, images, etc.

The HTC Touch Dual runs on a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system which facilitates multitasking provided by its built-in MS Office suite. Web browsing is accessible anywhere through the handset’s 3.5G HSDPA, while 3G support enables users to make video calls using a secondary camera. The Touch Dual’s 2.0-megapixel main cam also doubles as a video cam.

Only SK Telecom stores will be piling stocks of the HTC Touch Dual phone, and it is expected to be priced at around 500,000 Korean Won.
