Singtel to Bring iPhone to Singapore, India, Philippines and Austrilia

SingTel, Bharti Airtel, Globe and Optus today announced that they have signed an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone to Singapore, India, the Philippines and Australia later this year.

It is not sure that SingTel will get the exclusive rights in Singapore. The company did not reveal their release schedule. Apple is expected to announce a new 3G iPhone at WWDC 2008, which will be held from 6th June at San Francisco.

The eOffice solution works on all currently shipping BlackBerry devices, connected both through BlackBerry Enterprise Server architecture and carrier-hosted BlackBerry Internet Service solution for individual customers. eOffice is immediately available without any upgrade requirements to the enterprise server or the BlackBerry device operating system.

The eOffice application allows users to open native attachments sent via email, stored on the device memory card or transferred to the BlackBerry. eOffice also enables users to create new documents and spreadsheets with comprehensive editing capabilities. All features, including editing native files, are available even when the BlackBerry is not wirelessly connected or in airplane offline mode.

eOffice includes the following Word, Excel and Sharepoint features:

* View, edit and create ‘real’ Word documents with all formatting, tables and embedded graphics displayed; includes comprehensive editing features and a power spell-checker
* View, edit and create new Excel files including charting; powerful features to modify spreadsheets such as control over formatting and updating formulas with an extensive list of built-in functions
* Integration with Sharepoint plus an online account with unlimited space for storing, retrieving, faxing and printing documents

LG launched KM380 music phone in China

LG announced their new music phone KM380 in China. The music phone featuring a slim body and improved audio experience by Mark Levinson. The mp3 player uses a “Restoration technology”, which will repair the loss quality from the mp3 files. LG KM380 will be available for 200$ in China market.

AT&T Launches Sony Ericsson W580i in Jungle Green and LG Shine in Black

AT&T has officially launched two new variants of popular handsets online, with availability in the retail stores for a few days before online listing.The Sony Ericsson W580i in Jungle Green is now available for $79.99 after new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $29.99 while the LG Shine in Black is now available for $149.99 after new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $99.99.

The Sony Ericsson W580i is now available in a striking color AT&T dubs Jungle Green,run with a 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, MemoryStick M2 expansion slot, QVGA display, and speakerphone.

The LG Shine, taken from the renowned Black Label series of high-end LG handsets is now available in a more formal black color while still featuring the mirror finish on the QVGA display that the phone is named after, as well as a built-in media player, microSDHC expansion slot, media player, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder and flash, and HSDPA high speed data access.

Another BlackBerry 9000 design? No this is the keyboard-less BlackBerry 9000, the BlackBerry Thunder. BGR has got the exclusive info again on the BlackBerry Thunder, possibly the first full touch screen smartphone from RIM.

The BlackBerry Thunder has a model name 9500. With only 4 shortcut key buttons below the display screen, text input will have to rely on the virtual keyboard like the iPhone. It is not sure if you will see this worldwide, but BGR said this will be exclusive lifetime to Vodafone and Verizon Wireless. The device might support both the CDMA and GSM network, and might even get the 4G support. Earliest announcement will happen in Q3 this year according to the source.

HTC Diamond Keyboard Extracted for Your Windows Mobile Device

The people at xda-developer did it again, you can now install the new HTC Diamond virtual keyboard in your Windows Mobile device.

The hacked software should work with most Windows Mobile pocket pc phone. Currently the keyboard support Italian and English, once you install it is default to Italian language, you can change it easily at the setting option.

Samsung Launches F400, Dual Slider Music Phone

Samsung announced the launch of Samsung F400, a dual slider music phone equipped with ICEpower technology by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower. The music phone featuring Smart Bass, which provides rich, deep and powerful sound, and Smart Limiter which ensures an audio signal to not exceed the amplitude of the threshold.

Many other latest sound enhancing technologies are also embedded within F400, such as Digital Natural Sound engine (DNSe) 2.0 which brings an ideal and customized sonic experience for every genre of music. All the great music features are easily accessible by simply pressing a music hot key button placed on the side.

When slide up, F400 is ready to make calls with a metallic keypad that is softly brushed with hairline pattern. When slide down, F400 turns into a music player, revealing hidden dual stereo speakers that pump up quality sound.

By using a pre-installed application called Shazam, users can find out the name and artist of an unknown tune by simply pointing their phone at the music. The service is also available when a user is listening to a song on the radio integrated within the handset. F400 will first be available in France in May, in two colors, black and white, with glossy finishing that resembles black and white piano keys. It will continue to be available in other European countries as well as many other countries in Asia, Southeast Asia, and Middle East.
